Here's a story from "Abby", a student at Grand Haven High School.........

My name is Abby.  I attend Grand Haven High School, and this is my story.  As a child I grew up in a Christian home.  My parents are both Christians, and are great people of God.  I know I have Jesus in my heart, but it kills me that I don't remember the time or place that I accepted Him.  Sometimes I feel like I chose God because I was expected to; like if I didn't I wouldn't be a part of the family.  Other times I feel like I was too young to make such a life-changing decision.

Throughout my childhood I was surrounded by good people.  I truly was, and still am, blessed.  These people taught me so many things and really encouraged me.  I am thankful that God has given me friends to hold me accountable, and a family to always support me.

John 3:36 says, "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him."  I must say, I am happy to have Christ in my heart today and can't wait to spend eternity in His presence.
